Samelin M77 winter boots

The M77 boots, known as Norwegian combat boots, were originally developed for the Norwegian Army. The winter version features a warm white faux fur lining and is designed for cold conditions, freezing temperatures and long days outdoors.

The development of the M77 model took ten years. According to the supplier, NATO armies still rely on the model.

Materials and construction

The upper of the winter boots is made from thick, water-repellent 2.8–3 mm leather. The boots are designed to withstand moisture, cold and heavy use. The outsole is made of injected polyurethane, or PU.

The white faux fur lining provides warmth in cold conditions. The anatomical insole is shock-absorbing, antibacterial, breathable and washable.

Fit and use

The M77 winter boots are a unisex model. The sizing is generous, and the boots are designed to be worn with thick socks or two pairs of socks.

Full-grain leather boots require a break-in period before they adapt to the foot. When properly cared for and regularly greased, the boots are designed to last for years.
